Welcome to Wesley Higher Secondary School, Chennai.
Wesley School is one of the oldest schools in Chennai and it was founded in the year 1818. The small school and a chapel established at Royapettah, Chennai (previously called as Madras) by Rev. James Lynch, gradually grew and reached the status of High School in 1851. Alumni Reunion Day 2018 and Curtain Raiser Programme for Bicentenary Celebrations were held on 8th September 2018.
The Wesley Higher Secondary School is a Government Aided Boys School offering courses from Std. VI to Std. XII under State Syllabus of Government of Tamil Nadu. The courses are offered in Tamil and English Medium.
The School is located in the heart of Chennai with a sprawling campus and it is one of the Institutions of Meston Education and Development Association (MEDA), which is a Christian Ecumenical organization registered under the Companies Act. The activities of the School are managed by the School Committee of the Association.
